Sweep The Hooch 2016 Removes More Than 15 Tons of Trash from the Chattahoochee River

Sweep the Hooch is an annual day of service to the Chattahoochee River mobilizing volunteers on foot, in waders, canoes and kayaks to remove trash at sites throughout the watershed.

*Organized by Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, Upper Chattahoochee Chapter of Trout Unlimited and the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, in collaboration with numerous local partners

During the 6th Annual Sweep the Hooch (Apr 9, 2016), more than 15 TONS of trash were removed by 532 volunteers at 40 cleanup sites spread over 70 river miles.
